The leather we use at Adelisa & Co. is custom made for us using a sustainable vegetable tanning process. This method is organic and biodegradable, allowing much of the waste to be reused for things like soil enrichment or compost. The tannery follows strict environmental standards, with careful waste management, water reuse, and energy efficiency. It has even been awarded a gold medal by the Leather Working Group for its high environmental and production standards.
